NEWCASTLE DENTISTS AWARDS

We haven't got any awards awarded yet, but do not despair as there will be some awarded soon and you can read all about them here and see exclusive pictures from the awards night in the picture section. We are still waiting for Jon Francis (no pressure) to organise our mini awards night.

In the mean time we can have our own awards.

SLACKER OF THE YEAR
This award goes to Muzz Kapasi who probably touched the ball four times in all his games untill the final, where when his team needed him the most, he let in two soft goals.

FRENDLIEST PLAYERS OF THE YEAR
This award goes to Jon Francis and Kulraj Rihal who are so friendly that they are one first name terms with all the different umpires. It could also be due to the fact that they share 2 yellow cards and about 7 green cards between them.

GAME OF THE YEAR
It's not the 4-2 victory over the Lawyers in the final, nor is it the 8-0 thrashing of Red Bulls in the semi-finals. It's the 2-0 victory over Oranjeboom (this is the Medics team), with goals in either half. First from a penalty flick into the keepers top left hand corner by Kulraj Rihal and the second a well taken goal by Lizz Brassie from open play.
